"If I could give 0 stars, I would. I switched to State Farm in October 2025 and was given a quote that seemed reasonable by Kelis- that lasted 1 month before I started getting all these random charges. I contacted the office and they said it was because the beacon wasn't set up. First of all, I never received the beacon to set up. Kelis told me the only thing that needed to be done to keep the rate the same was adding rental insurance, which I agreed to. Kelis then said in December I needed to setup the beacon in order to maintain the rate, this was the first time I heard of this - I said okay, send it because I never received it- hence why the setup wasn't completed on my end. I kept asking for tracking numbers - I got the tracking number yesterday February 2026, I tracked it and it says it's still being delivered - from 11/13/25. Like? Then in December it took about two weeks and I still didn't receive the second order of the beacon - I stressed this to Kelis and she's like oh you can go in to the office - great, don't you think you should've started with that? I went in and set it up and was told by Kelis via email, my account will be credited in January - didn't happen. I kept going back and forth and was told all these charges were from the beacon removal. How I am going to charged removal fees for something I never received? Tawanda then provides me with the proof of the beacon not being delivered and stating to me they don't do credits when her agent clearly typed an email stating I will be credited. I'm not sure how hard selling insurance is but Kelis is clearly misinformed or not trained properly and is saying whatever to clients to make situations justified. I'm the only one coming out of pocket here and nothing is being fixed. The acceleration team is also highly unhelpful. I called to file a complaint and requested a call back from corporate, never happened. I called a second time and the complaint was canceled - never did that. Now Matthew called because I contacted the BBB - he's justifying Kelis's mistake - I sent all the emails of her stating I will receive a credit, the tracking number from the first order which proves it wasn't delivered, and he's still trying to justify removal charges for something I never received. The acceleration team said an email was sent, which was a lie - I asked for it to be sent again while I was on the phone - the office stated how emails can't be sent because Tawanda wasn't in office - all of a sudden no one has access to anything. Then they said the office stated the email needed to be generated - how does an email need to be generated if it was already sent? How hard is it to resend an email? Lies, more lies. I sent Tawanda an email requesting the email to be resent. She typed up some random email and put "2nd Request" - more lies, I never received the first one. I asked for proof of that too - still waiting. I don't know how an office can provide me with the proof that the beacon was never delivered and I'm still being charged. Kelis is spreading false information, the USPS is wrong now, Tawanda is saying there is no clear record of issue and yet I'm the one paying for all of this. The beacon was delivered - the office sent me proof of that. Kelis is promising credits and can't deliver. I'm not understanding how this is not a clear record of issue."

Please know that my office has made every effort to help find a resolution in this matter. We have seen similar situations before and have responded consistently to ensure all customers are treated fairly and equally. The Drive Safe & Save (DSS) program is a premium adjustment that requires active participation from the insured. Once a customer signs up, they receive a Drive Safe & Save Welcome email, and the beacon is automatically shipped. If the beacon is not set up promptly, the customer receives a series of reminders: a 10-day setup reminder, followed by a 20-day reminder if setup is still incomplete. We hope this explanation clarifies the process and the reasons behind the adjustment. We truly value your business and are here to assist you with any further questions. Kindest regards, "
